What would happen if every blog published posts discussing the same issue, on the same day?
One issue. One day. Thousands of voices.

On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind – the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic.

This is in response to the Calling: Blog Action Day, in its inaugural year, will be co-ordinating bloggers to tackle the issue of the environment.

Here, I’ve for you a poem written by a little friend of mine, Asha. She’s studying in 9th grade.

Trees

Trees are green

But where are they seen

Mostly in villages

And as pictures in pages

Those are greenery

That makes up the scenery

The woods give us oxygen

Which there would be no life

Neither a human nor a hen

Nor a lion in the den

They give us rain

Which proves a gain

They give us food

Which is tasty and good

They give us fruits

Shoots and roots too

They give us wood

To build our beds

We feel sad when their

Leaves are shed

They give us rubber

They give us gum

Lets not cut them

To make our huts

Natural Resources are Ours.

To Use.

To Waste.

Use them judiciously. They won’t last Forever!
